As a therapist, you will have access to advanced electronic medical records (EMR) systems and collaboration tools which simplify documentation and facilitate communication among the multidisciplinary care teams, which include medical staff, social workers, and case managers.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including detailed assessments of client histories including any criminal or substance abuse records.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with established best practices for each diagnosis, integrating therapeutic techniques and community resources.
• Document all patient interactions and progress meticulously while adhering to state and federal guidelines surrounding confidentiality and ethical treatment.
• Provide supportive therapeutic counseling and education designed to empower clients, particularly focusing on maternal mental health issues and related challenges.
• Deliver crisis intervention services, including on-call support for clients in immediate need during working hours, ensuring safety and appropriate care measures are in place.
• Collaborate with a variety of care teams to make recommendations about ongoing treatment and adjustments to individual care plans as necessary.
• Engage in productive communication both in writing and verbally, ensuring that all patient-related information is recorded accurately and timely.
• Monitor patients for progress and treatment adherence, adjusting plans based on ongoing evaluations and outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on mothers and families who may be dealing with challenges such as postpartum depression, anxiety, and the impact of socio-economic factors on mental health. You will also work with individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance dependency issues, providing tailored intervention strategies and support to enhance their overall well-being.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, mental health counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program, such as an MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, or PsyD.
• A valid independent license to practice in the state of Oregon, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• Ability to work efficiently within electronic medical records and possess proficient computer skills, particularly within Windows applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through electronic mail and virtual platforms.
• A commitment to ethical practices and continuous professional development in mental health care.
• A valid driver’s license, enabling limited on-site visits to veterans' homes as needed.

• Previous experience in mental health assessments, community outreach, substance abuse counseling, and welfare services.
• Familiarity with the specific challenges faced by mothers and underprivileged populations.
• Capacity to manage a robust caseload while maintaining high-quality care standards and effective communication with support staff.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, allowing you to thrive both professionally and personally.
