Serene Steps Psychological Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote position. This role offers an annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, dependent on experience and qualifications. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your typical day will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients to express their feelings.
• Assessing clients' mental health needs through comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and clinical interviews to determine optimal intervention strategies.
• Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to the clients' specific circumstances, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and other evidence-based practices.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care that addresses both mental and emotional health.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of client progress and treatment updates in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing various challenges such as relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your therapeutic efforts will directly contribute to improved mental well-being and stability, promoting healthier relationships and life satisfaction for our clients.

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and implementing treatment plans.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients from various backgrounds.
• A commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and ethical practices in all aspects of clinical care.

While not required, applicants with additional experience in telehealth practices, group therapy facilitation, or specialized training in trauma-informed care will be given preference. Familiarity with managed care systems and insurance reimbursement processes can also be advantageous.
