Thrive Hard Behavioral Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time capacity. Work Environment

As a remote position, the LPC role enables counselors to work from any location while remaining deeply integrated with the clinic's broader operations. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with primary care providers to recognize, diagnose, treat, and manage mental health and psychosocial issues as a key member of the healthcare team.
• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations, and provide well-informed recommendations for treatment goals and plans.
• Respond to patient needs with brief, focused interventions, ensuring immediate and effective mental health care.
• Assess patient suitability for primary care services versus specialty mental health referrals, advising on appropriate pathways for care.
• Initiate follow-up communications to monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment efficacy, and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Develop relapse prevention plans and strategies, assisting patients in maintaining stable and healthy functioning.
• Identify at-risk patients and create proactive plans to prevent the escalation of their mental health conditions.
• Facilitate the coordination and delivery of comprehensive health services related to behavioral healthcare, ensuring continuity of care both within and outside the clinic.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress and diagnostic information to support ongoing treatment and evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers to ensure alignment on treatment plans and to address any unique patient needs effectively.
• Promote healthier lifestyle choices among patients and assist in the adoption of self-management skills.
• Provide insights and consultative support to clinic management regarding behavioral health services and program evaluations.
• Assist patients in adhering to medical treatments initiated by the primary care provider, including offering strategies to manage side effects of medications.
• Adhere strictly to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals and fulfill any additional assignments as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Professional Counselor at Thrive Hard will engage with a diverse client base, ranging from children to adults, who may be experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. By providing patient-centered care focused on empathy and understanding, the LPC will help foster a supportive and healing environment. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.
• Current LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license is required.
• Strong foundation in mental health assessment, treatment planning, developmental psychopathology, and various therapeutic modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy.
• Familiarity with DSM-IV diagnostic criteria and behavioral therapy techniques.
• Ability to maintain a keen awareness of the personal and social impacts of mental health issues on patients and their families.
• Knowledge of the resources available within the community to support patient care and social welfare.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear patient interactions and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred, enhancing communication with a broader patient demographic.
• Prior experience working in a community health setting or a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is a plus.
• Demonstrated understanding of psychodiagnostics and psychotherapeutic techniques is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from $87,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
