Spacelift

Capon Bridge, WV • On-site, Remote

Full-time

Posted 27 days ago

Job description

Spacelift is an infrastructure orchestration platform that manages the entire infrastructure lifecycle — provisioning, configuration and governance. Spacelift integrates with all infrastructure tooling to provide a single integrated workflow so you can deliver secure, cost-effective, and resilient infrastructure, fast.

By automating deployment and configuration, providing developer self-service, golden paths with guardrails, and an OPA policy engine, Spacelift empowers businesses to accelerate developer velocity while maintaining control and governance over their infrastructure. Spacelift offers unrivaled support, no-nonsense pricing, and a range of deployment models to fit your specific needs.

The role:

Product & Design at Spacelift is scaling its surface area: more product teams, more cross-functional partners and a way of working we are actively reshaping.

We need someone who keeps that machine running. Someone who owns the tooling, the rituals, the data, and the customer feedback loop so that PMs, designers, and Epic Owners spend their time on product decisions, not chasing reports, hunting templates, or stitching together feedback from five places.

About you:
  • You\'ve been doing product analytics, product ops, or a hybrid PM-adjacent role and want to broaden into operations.

  • You\'re fluent in SQL and comfortable working with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Metabase, Amplitude, or similar).

  • You\'re organised in a way that makes other people more effective. You build systems, not just lists.

  • You can hold the line on process without becoming process for its own sake. "Do not fall in love with process."

  • You\'re comfortable working across Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, CS, Support, and Solutions Engineering.

  • You\'re intellectually humble. You ask good questions, you change your mind when the data says so.

  • Fluent English

Nice to have:
  • Experience with infrastructure, DevOps, or developer-tools products.

  • Familiarity with Working Backwards / PR-FAQ as a framework.

  • Experience administering ClickUp or Notion.

  • Background working alongside design and research (Figma, discovery interviews).

What you will do:
  • Own and administer the Product & Design tool stack (Notion, Mixpanel, Metabase, Hex, Featurebase, Figma) and keep it working as a coherent system

  • Run product process rituals: weekly syncs, epic demos, kickoffs, retros, pre-mortems, and quarterly planning

  • Build and maintain KPI, adoption, and usability dashboards; write SQL and build visualizations directly; partner with PMs on discovery analytics

  • Design and operate the customer feedback pipeline — consolidating signals from six channels (Featurebase, Sales, CS, Support, CAB, discovery interviews) into a weekly digest routed to the right PM at the right time

  • Track which customer requests turned into shipped features, in-progress work, or deliberate declines, and close the loop back to Sales and CS

  • Maintain PR/FAQ and 5 Questions templates in Notion; track which initiatives have artifacts, which are missing them, and surface gaps to the SVP of Product & Design

  • Coordinate cross-functional release logistics with Marketing, Sales, CS, Support, and Solutions Engineering

  • Advocate for data hygiene: consistent event taxonomy, instrumentation standards, clean property naming

Hiring Process:

  • Intro interview with Olga Gradowska-Pernak, Technical Recruiter

  • Hiring Manager interview with Jonah Kowall, SVP of Product & Design

  • Take-home exercise

  • Home Assignment Debriefing Session with the Product Team

Why Spacelift?

  • Innovative Culture: Join a team shaping cloud infrastructure management’s future.

  • Growth Opportunities: Be a key player in driving Spacelift’s business and AWS partnership to new heights.

  • Work-Life Balance: Flexible work environment, with remote-first options and competitive compensation packages.

  • Collaborative Team: Work with passionate, talented people committed to driving success for our customers and partners.

Our values

  • We build for CUSTOMERS

  • We RESPECT each other

  • We take OWNERSHIP seriously

  • We succeed through COLLABORATION

  • We embrace SPARK & WONDER
