Position/ Job Title:Product Coordinator Department:Sales  Classification:Salary Reports To:Product Manager          4   The Product Coordinator is expected to work independently and play a key role in supporting sales and operations planning. This position is responsible for gathering and coordinating customer, product, and market information to help Product Managers develop and analyze both new and existing business opportunities against forecasts and business plans. The Product Coordinator will assist Product Managers with reporting, pricing, market and customer segmentation, facility loading, and product development targets. Strong knowledge of systems and reporting-particularly those related to market analysis, internal pricing and costing, and competitor capabilities-is essential for success in this role.  6  
  1. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental, ResponsibleSteel, and Quality programs, and support the development and implementation of strategies to address related issues, ensuring seamless integration into the business plan.
  2. Ensure adherence to Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements, as well as ResponsibleSteel standards where applicable.
  3. Manage meeting notes and distribute them to the appropriate departments as directed by Product Managers.
  4. Assist Product Managers with monthly planning and forecasting activities.
  5. Oversee reporting and communication for Argus, Spot Pricing, Blockouts, Contract Compliance, Forecast App, CGL2 Space, and BR1/BR2 Weekly Sales Reports, among others.
  6. Monitor production and TI part/order releases, providing concise summaries to the sales team.
  7. Manage updates and additions of paint codes and pricing within the Paint Manufacture database.
  8. Support Product Managers with promise date adjustments based on available capacity.
  9. Assist Product Managers in coordinating training opportunities for sales teams as needed.
  10. Develop, maintain, and verify the accuracy of customer presentation materials.
  11. Collaborate with Product Managers to launch new products, including the publication of standard book extras and updates to website information and resources.
  12. Monitor and report on product and pricing data.
  13. Help manage various projects, such as the competitor database, customer tracking, AI pricing initiatives, and paint system updates.
  14. Participate in learning and supporting proceeds projections and long-range revenue forecasting processes.

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing, or equivalent professional experience
  2. At least two years of experience in North American steel sales
  3. Demonstrated success in sales, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships; start-up experience and a self-motivated approach are preferred
  4. Skilled in interpreting financial data to make informed business decisions
  5. Proven ability to proactively manage and successfully complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  6. Capable of working independently with drive, initiative, and self-starting attitude
  7. Ability to effectively lead others in a collaborative environment and achieve results
  8. Proficient in using CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite
  9. Experienced with ERP systems, and able to quickly learn new software and platforms
  10. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships across key functional groups and interact constructively

Candidates must be prepared to provide prompt after-hours and weekend support as needed. A professional appearance and demeanor are essential, along with strong skills in both electronic and verbal communication.
