RTX launched oneRTX focused on leveraging the scale of our three business units to improve collaboration, cost structure, productivity, and performance. The oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation (PST) project is one of several major, multi-year initiatives under oneRTX that align to our goals as a company and optimize how we work, how we operate and how we deliver to our customers so that we can achieve our full potential. oneRTX: PST will harmonize processes, tools, and metrics across RTX, while deploying a common enterprise resource management platform – SAP’s S/4 HANA. The result will be a common user experience across the businesses, real-time visibility into critical data, and automation of manual tasks enabling all employees to focus on value-add activities.  With processes optimized and harmonized, we will leverage our scale so teams across RTX can share resources, leverage talent seamlessly and identify efficiencies. We will reduce cost and effort and improve performance as we break down silos and establish consistent ways of working. 

The Enterprise Hub will be the first S/4 HANA implementation for oneRTX | PST.  The Enterprise Hub will service the needs of the corporate home office and enterprise services at RTX.  Capabilities of the Enterprise Hub include, but are not limited to, finance for corporate, indirect procurement for corporate, treasury, tax, consolidations, financial planning and related shared services operations of RTX.

What You Will Do:

The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, PST team:

The Enterprise Hub lead is responsible for supporting the successful entry into service and support there after as it pertains to the EHUB processes.

You are the ideal candidate if you have experience working within an organization that is responsible for driving large scale, complex programs and projects related to business process and system transformation, ideally ERP implementation using SAP’s S/4HANA solution. 

Support successful delivery within each phase of the PST Program as it relates to the Corporate Enterprise Hub implementation:

  • Cutover & Hypercare – support successful data mapping and migration from legacy systems to the Corp Enterprise Hub environment. Support go-live and the continuation of RTX business’ financial and operational performance.

  • Ongoing support – as the implementation of the project shifts to sustainment this role will be part of the Corporate SAP team supporting the S/4HANA Enterprise Hub instance.  This lead will support the overall Release 1 operations team until Release 2 is implemented 6 months later.

  • Responsible for managing the metrics and priorities for on going change requests.

  • Complete Special projects as needed pertaining to the implementation or support of EHUB

  • Collaborate and Communicate with the needed resources within and outside of the OneRTX: Process Systems and Transformation program to help drive alignment with the teams.

  • Travel requirement for this role will be 25 - 50% during the project roll out. Expected to reduce there after.

Qualifications You Must Have:​ 

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in digital technology systems implementation, with a strong focus on SAP ERP solutions and design.  

  • Experience with Record to Report finance processes including but not limited to: Finance Master Data, Allocations, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Intercompany, G/L, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Period Close & Consolidation, Project Accounting. Ability to translate these business needs into system requirements and process improvements.

  • Experience leading or supporting teams with SAP integrations such as Tax engine, Workday, Treasury applications.

  • Experience with Corporate and Enterprise Service functions, with a focus on supporting finance and accounting processes from a technology standpoint.

  • Ability to plan, manage & deliver across numerous bodies of work helping to translate business needs into system requirements and process improvements. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly adapting to changing business needs and priorities. 

  • Experience working on large, complex A&D enterprise projects -- or similarly regulated, large organization 

  • Experience with agile frameworks/iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects​ 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to identify system issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose effective solutions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 

  • Familiarity with financial regulations, controls, and security measures. Experience implementing and maintaining compliance standards within an ERP system.

Role Type: Remote

This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
