Job description

Junior Manufacturing Analyst
We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Manufacturing Analyst to help us understand how well our production lines are running, dig into data to spot inefficiencies, and work with operators and engineers to make our processes faster, safer, and more cost-effective. If you like solving practical problems, this is the job for you.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze production data from various sources (ERP systems, spreadsheets, shop floor reports, etc.)
  • Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement in manufacturing processes
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key performance metrics (yield, downtime, scrap, etc.)
  • Assist with root cause analysis for process issues and help implement corrective actions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects
  • Collaborate with production staff, engineers, and management to collect information and implement solutions
  • Maintain documentation related to process changes, standard operating procedures, and best practices

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis tools (like Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and communicating with shop floor personnel
  • Eagerness to learn new processes and technologies
  • Good organizational and communication skills

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with ERP or MES systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, etc.)
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
