Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a Senior Strategic Planning Business Analyst to support a federal agency with strategic planning, business analysis, workforce planning, requirements development, and executive decision support.

The successful candidate will analyze technical, operational, financial, and workforce information and translate findings into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support strategic and long-range planning initiatives.
  • Conduct business, process, and requirements analysis.
  • Gather, analyze, and document stakeholder and functional requirements.
  • Develop functional requirements documents and process documentation.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate meetings, workshops, and working groups.
  • Support HPAC/PDT-type working groups and develop meeting planning packages.
  • Conduct workforce and workforce-gap analysis.
  • Develop and analyze performance measures and KPIs.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, briefings, presentations, and decision-support materials.
  • Synthesize technical, operational, financial, and workforce information for senior leadership.
  • Support process improvement and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint to develop professional deliverables and support collaboration.
Required Qualifications
  • Must have 5 – 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Economics, Public Administration, Operations, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • Β Federal government or DoD experience.
  • Experience in strategic planning, business analysis, management analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements.
  • Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating meetings or workshops.
  • Experience with workforce analysis, performance measurement, or process improvement.
  • Strong research, writing, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop executive-level briefings and recommendations.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting senior executives or executive-level working groups.
  • PMP, CBAP, or similar certification.
