Banner Life is a leader in Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) with over a decade of experience in the industry. The retirement business has grown steadily since its inception in 2015, and we have written over $14 billion in total PRT premium as of year-end 2025. Known for customer service excellence, Banner Life retirement secures the retirement of over 200,000 annuitants annually.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver a world-class customer experience to each client and their annuitants, ensuring the transition (onboarding) to Banner Life is efficient, accurate, and completed according to plan effective deadline.
  • Support Transition team members in the installation of new business by actively participating in internal and external meetings, developing effective means of communication, and ensuring cross functional departments receive accurate data.
  • Responsible for collaborating with clients, designated representatives, and internal partners to obtain annuitant data, and perform validation testing of annuitant mailings.
  • Develop effective communication materials to use with clients and annuitants during the transition phase.
  • Actively participate in identifying and resolving issues to ensure installation is completed timely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Effectively communicate to all appropriate parties, including the client and senior management, to ensure everyone receives all information relevant to transition.
  • Identify, communicate, and manage risks through appropriate controls while ensuring timely escalation to leadership when warranted.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Defined Benefit Plan experience required
  • Pension plan administration, retirement benefits, annuity, or financial services experience required
  • 3+ years' experience in a customer service or related position required
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Access) required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and/or university preferred
  • 1+ years project management experience preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 or similar certification preferred
  • Understanding of annuities and life insurance products
  • Data reconciliation and/or data analytic skills
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, and exercise good judgment.

The expected hiring compensation range for this position is $72,000 - $83,000 USD annually. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The current bonus target for the position is 5% of the base salary with a stretch to twice the target, modified for corporate and individual performance.
