Job description

As a Regional Education Consultant at Manulife John Hancock, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to the success of our retirement plan and investment initiatives. You will be responsible for delivering on-site enrollment/education services, ensuring dynamic communication of retirement plan and investment concepts to engage and inspire employees, participants, and plan sponsors. Additionally, you will participate in virtual enrollment/education meetings, delivering remote presentations, and providing support to internal and external partners. This is a remote work arrangement with required travel within an assigned territory.

Through a deep understanding of the company and its retirement products, you will build and maintain John Hancock's relationships with plan sponsors and Financial Representatives.You are excited and capable of working both independently and collaboratively, and you'll rely on your excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate complex information to various audience levels via multimedia tools to help participants establish confidence and improve outcomes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with intermediaries to schedule and conduct on-site and virtual enrollment/education meetings and website/mobile app demonstrations tailored to meet the needs of employees/participants and plan sponsors.

  • Respond promptly and expertly to questions and concerns regarding plan service features, products, and 401(k) retirement savings programs.

  • Assist plan sponsors and intermediaries in conducting on-site enrollment meetings, ensuring the effective representation of John Hancock and the accurate utilization of enrollment and online account management tools.

  • Work closely with intermediaries and plan sponsors to influence positive participant outcomes through successful employee education and enrollment initiatives.

  • Track client meeting activity in the Salesforce CRM system and effectively manage Travel & Expense reporting in the TREC/Concur system

Required Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience in benefits education, particularly in the pension and/or defined contribution sector.

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • NASD Series 6 and 63 an asset but not required.

  • Life insurance and variable license as determined for territory coverage or can be obtained as part of training

  • Spanish and English language proficiency is a significant asset but not required.

Salary range is expected to be between

$69,900.00 USD - $116,500.00 USD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
