About the Position District Administrator Muncie Sanitary District | Muncie, Indiana Starting Salary Range: Up to $130,000 Application Deadline: August 13, 2026 The Muncie Sanitary District is seeking an experienced and collaborative District Administrator to lead a well-run, financially stable public utility serving the Muncie community. This executive role oversees day-to-day operations, staff leadership, budgeting, capital planning, and regulatory compliance for a multi-department sanitary and wastewater organization with a AAA bond rating and an annual budget of approximately $39.5 million. The Administrator will partner closely with the Board of Sanitary Commissioners to guide major capital investments, succession planning, and long-term strategic initiatives while serving as a visible and trusted representative of the District
