The Recovery-Plus Family & Youth Mental Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide composed, compassionate mental health services to patients and their families in a full-time remote capacity. This position offers the flexibility of creating a personalized work schedule while delivering essential mental health evaluations, crisis intervention, and ongoing patient support.

Work Environment

As a fully remote position, the work environment at Recovery-Plus allows for maximum flexibility, enabling counselors to design their schedules around patient needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, and ongoing assessments to determine the appropriate care levels for patients.
  • Develop and implement customized care plans by collaborating closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to navigate the complexities of mental health issues.
  • Ensure comprehensive follow-up care and continuity by coordinating with institutional programs and services.
  • Lead group therapy sessions tailored to address various mental health challenges while ensuring a supportive environment.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and timely, including statistical reports to inform treatment effectiveness and patient outcomes.
  • Engage with the Department of Correction to facilitate patient access and the conditions necessary for treatment.
  • Participate actively in mental health and medical rounds, as well as case conferences, to foster integrated treatment planning.
  • Supervise and mentor social work interns or student volunteers as they navigate their professional paths.

Qualifications
