Job description

Overview

The Procurement Senior Manager (MRO Services) serves as the North America Procurement lead for manufacturing line services across PepsiCo Foods and Beverages, managing approximately $220 million in spend.

As Global Procurement expands ownership of service agreements, this position will drive sourcing strategies aligned to global standards while partnering closely with North America Supply Chain and Maintenance teams to define service requirements and deliver operational value.

The role will collaborate with Global Capital Procurement to leverage synergies across OEM agreements while leading North America's non-OEM service supplier relationships. In addition, this position will drive optimization of spare parts tail spend through supplier and SKU harmonization. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional leadership and engagement across Supply Chain, Maintenance, Engineering, Capital, and Procurement teams to deliver strategic sourcing solutions that support PepsiCo's manufacturing network.

Location: This person must sit in one of our U.S. based hubs- Purchase, Chicago, or Plano.

Responsibilities
  • Lead RFP Analysis, Contract Negotiation & Legal Contract Creation for NA
  • Establish technician capabilities, labor rates, line efficiency requirements and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) framework in contracts for manufacturing line services based on global standards and harmonized parameters.
  • Develop and enable implementation of tactics for AOP and long term pipeline to deliver 4% YoY productivity
  • Supplier Relationship Management where level of engagement is based on supplier segmentation in breath of service offering and innovation opportunities. For services, innovation includes leveraging technology for predictive line performance, remote vs onsite technical support, etc.
  • Prioritize NA spare parts tailspend analysis by sub-categories with S&T and Mexico Capability Center. Then, develop roadmap to expand and manage whitespace spend including build on productivity pipeline.
  • Take decision on day to day executional issues, identify risks and escalate challenges to line management.
  • Communicate clearly complex internal or external (macro or geo-political) business challenge, driving consensus amongst various stakeholders in market, COEs etc.
  • Interfacing with LG1+ Sector Manufacturing Leaders

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $123,500 - $206,750.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management and/or Business required.
  • Minimum 7 years of procurement experience, with strong contract management and negotiation skills.
  • Experience sourcing MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) services, manufacturing services, facilities services, or other indirect service categories within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence, thrive in a matrix organization working across regions and functions and build trusting relationships internally and externally to deliver results and gain alignment on key decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills, with thought leadership that drives strategy setting and execution.
  • Strong decision-making, problem solving skills, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator with ability to win support, minimizes or removes barriers that get in the way of achieving results, and leverages understanding of key business drivers in Parts sourcing to deliver results
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
