Position Overview
Paid Search Specialist
The Paid Search Specialist is a role primarily responsible for monitoring, managing, reporting, and supporting planning for paid search programs. This position should have an understanding of the program strategy and objectives to ensure a flawless execution and reporting approach that aligns with campaign goals and objectives. This position accurately executes programs while closely monitoring campaigns and delivering reporting that aligns with and accomplishes our client's goals and objectives. Ad Operations is not a part of this role, and candidates with only AdOps experience (even if it included Search) do not meet our criteria. The position requires working during U.S. East Coast (Eastern Time) business hours.
Expectations:
A MUST:
• Minimum (3-5) years of experience independently executing paid search programs through all stages
• Experience in running campaigns for highly regulated industry
• Strong understanding of Search Engine Marketing mechanisms and optimization techniques
• Experience with the US market
• Fluent English - written and oral
• Understanding of metrics and analytical thinking
• Strong attention to details
• Working knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Office Excel
Nice to have, not a strict requirement:
• Working knowledge and experience using Tableau
• Experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare category
• Working knowledge of SEO concepts and inner workings
• While not required, experience with other biddable media (i.e., Programmatic and Paid Social) is highly valued
Note:
We are only interested in candidates with (3-5) years of experience INDEPENDENTLY running paid search programs (owning monitoring, reporting, budget pacing and reconciliation, optimization, creating Keyword and Copy Recommendations, and supported planning). They must have very good written and spoken English and be comfortable analyzing and interpreting data.
