Overview

The Senior Financial Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and optimization of Oracle Financial Consolidation & Close (FCC) and Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM) systems. This role serves as a key technical resource supporting the financial close and data governance processes, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and alignment across enterprise financial applications. Working closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams, the Senior Administrator maintains system configurations, manages master data and hierarchies, and supports end users throughout the close cycle. The role also contributes to process improvements by enhancing business rules, workflows, and integrations, helping to streamline consolidation, reporting, and data management activities. This position combines strong functional knowledge of financial processes with technical expertise in Oracle EPM solutions, providing hands-on support while driving continuous improvement in financial systems and data governance.

This role pays an annual salary of $112,500-$117,500 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities

System Administration & Maintenance (Oracle FCC & EDM)

  • Administer and support Oracle Financial Consolidation & Close (FCC) and Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM) applications.
  • Configure and maintain FCC application components, including consolidations, eliminations, business rules, metadata, and close processes.
  • Manage EDM hierarchies, mappings, and data governance workflows to ensure alignment across financial systems.
  • Maintain user roles, security access, and approvals across FCC and EDM to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Support system updates, patches, and enhancements in coordination with IT and Oracle support.

User Support & Training

  • Serve as a primary support contact for FCC and EDM users, troubleshooting system issues and resolving data or process errors.
  • Provide hands-on support during financial close cycles, including consolidations, intercompany processing, and reporting.
  • Assist in developing user documentation and training materials specific to FCC and EDM functionality.
  • Support onboarding of new users, including provisioning access and training on system processes and best practices.

Data Management & Integrity

  • Maintain and validate financial master data, hierarchies, and mappings within EDM to ensure consistency across systems.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial data within FCC through validations, reconciliations, and error resolution.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data integrations between FCC, EDM, ERP, and upstream/downstream systems.
  • Perform regular data audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and data governance standards.

Process Optimization & System Enhancement

  • Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to improve close, consolidation, and data governance processes.
  • Develop and enhance FCC business rules, calculation scripts, and automation to streamline consolidation processes.
  • Configure EDM workflows and governance models to improve master data management and change control.
  • Identify and implement system enhancements, automation opportunities, and integration improvements.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain FCC reports, data forms, and dashboards to support financial reporting and close activities.
  • Support data extracts and reporting requirements for consolidation, management reporting, and external reporting needs.
  • Assist in reconciling system outputs to ensure the accuracy of reported financial results.

Project & Enhancement Support

  • Participate in system-related projects, including FCC/EDM enhancements, integrations, and ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather requirements and support solution delivery.
  • Assist in testing, validation, and deployment of system changes and enhancements.
Qualifications
  • 3-4+ years of experience in financial systems administration, with a strong understanding of financial processes and system workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency in managing ERP (NetSuite) and FP&A tools (Oracle FCC) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of system configuration, customization, and workflow design.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, with an ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with Enterprise Data Management (EDM), including system configuration, data hierarchies, mappings, workflows, and security.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to troubleshoot data integrations, perform reconciliations, identify data issues, and maintain data accuracy across financial systems.
