These passions not only set us apart in the industry, but also fuel our collective drive to reshape the industry and reinvent ourselves along the way. We're not just revolutionizing the digital advertising horizon, we're shaping an organization where every member feels a sense of pride and is inspired to do their best work.

Job Summary

The Senior Digital Advertising Strategist (internally known as an Advertising Engineer) is a highly technical digital advertising expert who bridges the gap between sophisticated ad operations and business-level strategy. Serving as the primary point of contact between Fluency and our clients, you are integral to delivering a world-class client experience.

At Fluency, our commitment to value-driven client service is rooted in ideation, creativity, relationships, and strategy. In this role, you will curate the client experience by managing key stakeholder relationships, and proactively implementing Fluency's capabilities to solve complex business challenges. You will not just manage campaigns; you will drive client business goals, solve operational hurdles through our platform, and identify opportunities to maximize Fluency's impact on their bottom line.

  • The ability to nurture relationships with C-suite stakeholders, manage complex project timelines, and lead cross-organizational collaboration.
  • A deep technical mastery of building, managing, and optimizing large-scale digital marketing campaigns (Search, Social, Display) to deliver performance at scale without the need for manual coding.
Client Engagement & Strategy
  • Partner with the Advertising Architect to lead seamless client transitions and platform integrations.
  • Own post-onboarding relationships at all levels of the client organization, acting as a trusted advisor and platform expert.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to users on how to leverage the Fluency platform both tactically and operationally.
  • Deeply analyze client business, financial, and operational profiles to recommend opportunities for growth, performance improvement, and business efficiency.
  • Leverage the Fluency platform to execute sophisticated advertising strategies and analyze performance across various channels.
  • Lead high-level strategy calls, weekly syncs, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Potential for quarterly travel to visit key clients.
Internal Collaboration & Product Impact
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to report on client sentiment, requests, and technical hurdles.
  • Develop and execute client-specific engagement strategies to ensure long-term retention and success.
  • Articulate client growth opportunities and platform feature requests to the Product organization, contributing to the future of the Fluency platform.
  • Manage technical tickets and platform feedback loops to ensure a frictionless client experience.
What We Look For:
  • Minimum of (5) years of hands-on experience managing complex paid media campaigns (Search, Social, and/or Display).
  • Proven experience communicating with and presenting to C-Level executives.
  • Strong project management background with the ability to navigate multiple timelines and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills with a "systems-thinking" approach to solving operational challenges.
  • Elite verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
