Remote Hospice Billing Supervisor

Job Summary:

Anchor Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Hospice Billing Supervisor to join our team in Walnut Creek, CA. As a champion of healthcare navigation, we champion individuals in navigating health care and create tangible value for employers and health organizations. Our focus is on providing exceptional care and services to our patients and their families. The Remote Hospice Billing Supervisor will play a critical role in our billing operations, overseeing a team of billing specialists and ensuring the accurate and timely submission of claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party payers.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of billing specialists, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient and accurate claim submission

  • Develop and implement effective billing strategies to optimize revenue cycle management

  • Analyze and report on billing metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

  • Collaborate with other departments, including admissions, compliance, and medical records, to ensure seamless transitions and accurate billing

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines

  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance billing processes and patient satisfaction

Hospice Medicare, Commercial Payor and California R&B billing experience

Familiar with Inovalon clearing house

Familiar with R&B process in California
