We are growing and looking for a Communications Technicianto join our field team.


Position Summary

This is a hands-on field role where you will help install, deploy, and support communications systems at active worksites. You will work alongside experienced technicians and leadership while building practical skills in satellite systems, networking, and remote monitoring technologies.


This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and looking to build a career in field technology and communications.


What You Will Do

  • Support installation and deployment of communication systems including Starlink, LTE, and networking equipment
  • Assist with rig-ups, rig-downs, and jobsite equipment moves
  • Help install and troubleshoot internet, camera, and remote monitoring systems
  • Provide basic technical support to field teams and customers
  • Configure and support networking hardware such as routers, switches, and access points
  • Assist with camera systems and remote monitoring setups
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Check system status using cloud-based monitoring tools
  • Complete work orders, service logs, and inventory tracking
  • Maintain vehicle logs and ensure proper equipment care
  • Follow all safety standards and actively support a strong safety culture
  • Assist with field based rig set-up, moves, etc. as necessary
  • Additional duties as identified


What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • EnGenius Certified Network Specialist required
  • 1 year of hands-on or technical team experience preferred
  • Exposure to telecommunications, networking, satellite, or similar systems is an asset


Skills That Set You Apart

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced field environment
  • Basic knowledge of networking, cabling, or electronics
  • Interest in satellite communications and remote connectivity systems
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks


Travel & Work Environment

This is a field-based role that requires travel to active job sites. Overnight travel may be required and may include multi-day assignments.

Work is performed outdoors in a variety of conditions including heat, cold, wind, and dust. This role requires physical activity including lifting, climbing, and extended time on your feet.
