Better Living Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is designed for experienced professionals, specifically Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) who are committed to delivering exceptional mental health care. The work setting is fully remote, providing flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring you meet the needs of our clients based in various locations. Despite the remote setting, you will be expected to maintain a professional presence, actively engage with clients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers. Our outpatient office is designed to facilitate seamless communication and cooperation, even from a distance.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and emotional states, leading to informed decisions about treatment pathways.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that are individually crafted, focusing on specific needs and goals of each client.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions during sessions, including individual therapy, family counseling, and group therapy sessions, ensuring the provision of holistic care.
• Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and evaluations, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans for better outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring clients receive immediate support and referrals to emergency services when required.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards set forth by social work boards.
• Engage in regular meetings with multidisciplinary teams to discuss client care strategies and overall treatment effectiveness.
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in mental health practices and methodologies.
• Uphold ethical guidelines and professional standards throughout all interactions with clients and colleagues.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Better Living Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, and families who face various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role is pivotal in guiding clients toward emotional resilience and improved quality of life.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Current state licensure as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is mandatory.
• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.

• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team dynamics.
• Solid understanding of the ethical standards and laws governing mental health practice.

• A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field is essential. Candidates with extensive experience working in outpatient settings will be given preference.
