KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Communicates with customers via phone, email, and company web portal.
  • Manages time specific pickups and provides best export routing by Ocean and Air.
  • Manages breakbulk operations for export shipments. This includes working with overseas offices to quote, route, handling destination services. It also includes collating export documents and turning them over to our brokerage department for customs clearance.
  • Handles operations system data entry and interacts with customer web portal communications.
  • Tracks all shipments and provides updates for customers Provide a monthly service departure schedule.
  • Close out consolidations.
  • Send daily agent settlements per consolidation (invoicing).
  • Monitor and relay discrepancies to the field and overseas.
  • Assist stations with Export documentation, review/advise as needed.
  • Assist stations and sales with all air export quotes.
  • Keep sales abreast of any major lane developments.
  • Build pallets when necessary to maximize space while reducing costs.
  • Produce all necessary documents for overseas and U.S. Customs, including Mawb, manifest, SED, labels etc.
  • Act as the last line of defense to ensure all documentation is provided by origins.
  • Ensure all origins freight and documents are ready for carriage.
  • Rate and enter costs against master job.
  • Book all shipments with carriers.
  • Research and respond to any foreign agent requests.
  • Determine routings for overseas and origins.
  • Run monthly reports i.e., gateway, carrier performance, lane analysis, etc
  • Maintain an orderly workplace.
  • Comply with SEKO's C-TPAT Security Profile.
  • Expected to uphold SEKO's Core Values: respect, customer focus, integrity, teamwork and work hard, play hard
  • Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace. Comply with instructions given for their own safety and health and that of others, in adhering to safe work procedures. Cooperate with management in its fulfilment of its legislative obligations.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent Communications Skills and Strong Sense of Urgency.
  • Ability to prioritize heavy workloads.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-5 years related experience.

Preferred:
  • None

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offer for this role is $65,500 - $93,600 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
