Workday Integration Lead

INNOOVA

Job description

This is a remote position.

Why this role, why now

INNOOVA is a Montreal-based boutique consulting firm founded in 2019 and the only certified Workday partner headquartered in Canada. We deliver end-to-end HRIS implementations and transformations across the public sector, healthcare, finance, technology, and education. Our team offers the rigour of a recognized firm without the weight of large corporate structures which means faster decisions, direct impact, and real ownership from day one.

As our next Workday Integration Lead, you won't just configure you'll architect. You'll run client workshops, own integration strategy across HCM and Finance builds spanning EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio, and turn technical complexity into clarity for non-technical stakeholders. It's a hands-on lead role: you set the direction, and you still build. We're looking for someone who advises, influences, and transforms not just someone who configures. Less bureaucracy, more impact.

RequirementsYour day-to-day impact
  • Lead client workshops to shape Workday integration strategy and architecture across HCM and Finance modules.
  • Design, build, and troubleshoot integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio from routine syncs to complex, custom builds.
  • Translate technical integration concepts into clear, actionable updates for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Own project status communication with proactive and structured updates that keep clients and internal teams aligned.
  • Stay hands-on: this is a lead role that still builds, not one that only directs.
  • Contribute across multi-sector mandates (government, healthcare, finance, and beyond), building a track record across industries.
The profile we are looking for 70% expert · 30% advisor

What we also expect (70%)

  • Consulting or systems-integrator background.
  • Advanced Studio exposure for complex custom integrations (an asset).
  • Additional Workday Core HCM or Finance certifications (an asset).
  • Pre-sales, RFP, or estimation experience (an asset).
  • French/English bilingualism is preferred. This role supports client mandates across Canada, including English-language markets outside Quebec.

What matters most (30%)

  • Ability to lead client-facing workshops and translate technical integration concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, in scale-up-style, non-structured client consulting environments.
  • Proactive, structured project status communication clear, concise, client ready.
  • A “lead” mindset: setting direction while staying hands-on, not only a people manager.

Our must-haves

  • Active Workday Integration Certification non-negotiable.
  • Three (3) to Seven (7) years of Workday integration experience (HCM and/or Finance), covering EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio from routine to complex/custom builds.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to client stakeholders (technical/non-technical).
  • Consulting or systems-integrator background, comfortable in ambiguous, non-structured client environments.
  • The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit holder), to be confirmed during the background check.

BenefitsWhat we offer
  • Competitive compensation.
  • Fully remote and occasional on-site arrangements possible depending on mandates.
  • Group benefits from day one; retirement plan after 3 months.
  • Health spending account of $1,000
  • Certifications may be supported by INNOOVA.
  • Real impact, fast growth without the corporate overhead.
The process simple and fast
  1. Discovery call (20–30 min).
  2. Hiring manager interview (45 min).
  3. Final interview (60 min) preparation briefing provided beforehand.
  4. Offer and background verification.

INNOOVA is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates and are committed to fair, bias-aware, skills-focused hiring. AI tools may support but never replace human judgment throughout our recruitment process.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
