The Scicom Monitoring Program Manager will have several primary areas of responsibility:

This person will serve Scicom's program leader for our enterprise application performance monitoring software and consulting services practice. The perfect candidate must thrive in IT consulting focused around operations and monitoring and be passionate about identifying new client opportunities. This person will be the liaison between Scicom and our clients and will represent the company as well as they represent our clients' needs. This person will lead the team to deliver extraordinary client service and constantly look for new ways that our clients can benefit from our services.

What you will do:

· Partner with clients to understand their technology needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business

· Play an active role in managing project goals, monitoring technology initiatives, and teams to achieve customer satisfaction by managing issues, risks, decisions, and action items

· Take ownership, work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines on time

· Challenge, recommend and redirect teams as well as manage client expectations during the engagement

· Take proactive steps to ensure consultants and monitoring teams meet or exceed customer expectations

· Build confidence and understanding of the technology delivery model by utilizing best practices

What we are looking for:

Must have:

  • 8+ years of previous IT delivery with heavy focus around enterprise IT monitoring technologies and processes
  • At least 5 years experience working at a managerial level in enterprise IT tools management, administration and usage
  • Experience with multiple application, network and server monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, Nagios, ExtraHop, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc and enterprise use cases for log analytics and management
  • Experience with IT software asset management and licensing review / analysis to understand software spend, value being delivered to the organization, current utilizations and future spend considerations
  • Experience working in major enterprise with key focus around IT operations, monitoring, ITSM, ITOM, ITIL, monitoring and production systems
  • Data center experience, with core understanding of enterprise network technologies, enterprise compute, applications and additional core IT functions
  • Experience in consulting services
  • Experience in Application and Systems Monitoring
  • Experience with major monitoring technologies such as AppDynamics, DynaTrace, New Relic, Splunk, Nagios, Sciencelogic, BMC Software and similar platforms
  • Passion about sales and technology delivery
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent collaboration, people management and team-building skills; adept at aligning teams to work toward a common goal
  • Strong organizational, methodical, prioritization and negotiation skills
