Overview:

Mitel's US Sales Internship Program is a dynamic, hands-on opportunity for students interested in developing their skills in sales, business development, and technology solutions. Interns will gain practical experience in sales strategies, customer engagement, market analysis, and CRM tools while working closely with our experienced sales team. This program is designed to provide valuable industry exposure, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities in a fast-paced technology sales environment. In addition to getting real world first hand experience, you will also get to collaborate with other interns around the world on an actual company problems and working through a group project that will be delivered to the executive staff!

In this remote position, you will work 20 hours per week and the pay is $18 - 20 per hour dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Mitel Hospitality US Sales Team in lead generation, prospecting, and sales initiatives with our largest, strategic accounts and targets

  • Assist in market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and customer needs.

  • Conduct research to identify potential channel partners and assist in executing partner enablement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create and update partner resources, track performance metrics, and support partner communications.

  • Collaborate with other interns around the world on real company challenges and develop solutions and ideas as to how to improve/attack opportunities.

  • Work with the team to develop sales presentations, proposals, and customer outreach materials.

  • Gain hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and support pipeline management and assist the sales team with hygiene and performance management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer success, to drive sales initiatives.

  • Participate in sales training sessions, mentorship meetings, and shadowing opportunities with senior sales leaders.

  • Analyze sales performance metrics and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.

  • Engage with customers and partners in a professional manner, representing Mitel's brand and values.

  • Respond to partner inquiries, providing guidance on sales training tools, pricing, and deal registration

  • Help manage logistics for Lunch & Learns, including invitations, follow-ups, and post-event reporting.

Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

  • A current junior, senior or graduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Must have at least 1 semester left in school post-internship

  • 3.0+ GPA preferred

  • Passionate about technology sales, customer engagement, and business development.

  • A strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • A self-starter who is proactive, eager to learn, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
