Position Overview:

As a Power Platform Developer, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and enhancing business processes for our clients. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, designing, developing, and maintaining tools within the Microsoft Power Platform framework. This role entails ongoing collaboration with our client's daily operations.. Valuable experience with financial systems such as SAP ECC, SAP BW4HANA, and SAP BPC is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Power Platform Development: Architect, develop, test, and deploy tailored solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, encompassing a spectrum of tools such as Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate Cloud Flows, Microsoft Power Automate Desktop Flows, and Microsoft Power BI Reports. These custom solutions are crafted to meet specific business requirements and elevate operational processes of our clients.
  • Database Integration: Work closely with database administrators and data engineers to integrate and optimize SQL databases within Power Platform solutions. Ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
  • On-Prem Integrations: Manage and implement On-Premises Data Gateways used with the Power Platform services; implement, use, and customize the Microsoft Power Platform CoE Starter Kit
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand process requirements/dependencies, and translate these into technical schematics à Solutions.
  • Data Transformation: Utilize SQL for data transformation and manipulation to provide relevant insights and reporting capabilities within Power BI.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of applications to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Power Platform applications, data models, and integration processes.
  • User Training and Support: Provide training and support to non-technical end-users and assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that data and applications are developed in compliance with relevant security and privacy regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficient with SharePoint Online
  • Experience with the following languages:
  • Python
  • C#
  • .Net
  • Power FX

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Power Platform suite including:
  • Power BI (Familiarity with DAX is highly recommended)
  • Power Automate (Cloud/Desktop)
  • Power apps
  • CoPilot Studio
  • Proficient with SQL and programing languages;
  • Proficient in industry standard best practices, which include but are not limited to Coding Standards, Coding modularity/Re-use, Application Design/Prototypes, Coding analyzer/profiling Toolsets.
  • Exhibits a proactive and optimistic mindset, consistently displaying a can-do attitude that embraces challenges with enthusiasm and determination.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging effectively with individuals across various levels of responsibility and authority.

  • Possesses robust troubleshooting and organizational abilities, excelling in managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in participating in resource planning processes aligned with organizational plans. Well-versed in process governance and improvement methodologies, with the capacity to prioritize issues and consistently deliver high-quality, timely results.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications are a plus.
