Title: Power Platform / Power Automate Consultant - UiPath Migration
Location; Remote
Requirements
CompQsoft Digital is seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform / Power Automate Consultant to support the migration and modernization of robotic process automation (RPA) solutions from UiPath to Microsoft Power Automate.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop (PAD), and the broader Power Platform, with the ability to analyze existing automation processes and design, build, test, and demonstrate equivalent Microsoft-based solutions.
Prior experience migrating automations from UiPath to Power Automate is highly preferred but not required. Experience with Blueprint's UiPath-to-Power Automate migration capabilities is also desirable.
This is a hands-on delivery role with some customer-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, configure, and test automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate Desktop and Power Automate Cloud Flows.
  • Analyze existing UiPath processes and translate business and automation logic into Microsoft Power Automate solutions.
  • Re-engineer UiPath workflows, including sequences, selectors/UI elements, variables, data manipulation, exception handling, logging, and business rules for Power Automate.
  • Develop both attended and unattended desktop automations using Power Automate Desktop.
  • Integrate Power Automate solutions with Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications as required.
  • Review customer-provided process documentation and use cases and translate them into technical solution designs.
  • Create solution design and supporting technical documentation.
  • Perform unit testing and validate migrated automations to ensure functional parity with existing processes.
  • Troubleshoot automation issues and implement appropriate exception handling, monitoring, and logging.
  • Participate in customer discussions, solution walkthroughs, demonstrations, and technical reviews.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, architects, and project team members throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Support UAT, deployment, and knowledge transfer activities.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, including:
    • Power Automate Desktop (PAD)
    • Power Automate Cloud Flows
    • Desktop/UI automation
    • Workflow design and orchestration
    • Exception handling and logging
    • Unit testing and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise automation/RPA solutions.
  • Ability to independently take an automation use case from requirements and solution design through development, unit testing, and demonstration.
  • Experience integrating automation solutions with applications such as web applications, desktop applications, Excel, Outlook/email, PDFs, SharePoint, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand existing automation logic and redesign it for the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working directly with customers and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience migrating UiPath automations to Microsoft Power Automate Desktop.
  • Working knowledge of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, queues, selectors, sequences, and workflow architecture.
  • Experience with Blueprint or similar RPA migration/assessment tools.
  • Experience developing and deploying attended and unattended RPA solutions.
  • Experience with Power Apps, Dataverse, AI Builder, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
  • Experience creating Process Design Documents (PDDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), test cases, and other automation documentation.
  • Previous experience delivering automation solutions within Financial Services or another regulated industry.
  • Microsoft Power Platform and/or UiPath certifications are a plus.

Engagement Expectations
The consultant will be expected to work independently as a hands-on technical resource while collaborating with CompQsoft Digital and customer stakeholders. The role requires the ability to rapidly understand existing automation use cases, develop Microsoft Power Automate solutions, perform unit testing, and present completed solutions to customer stakeholders.
