Description

Vamonos IT is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support its U.S. federal customer in expanding and enhancing its Microsoft Power Platform environment. The QA Analyst will ensure the quality, reliability, security, and compliance of Power Platform solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.


This role supports enterprise modernization initiatives involving Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, and related Microsoft technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, and government stakeholders to validate new functionality, support production readiness, and ensure solutions meet functional and operational requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
  • Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Power BI reports, Dataverse solutions, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio implementations.
  • Document, track, prioritize, and verify software defects through resolution using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Validate solution performance, accessibility, security, and compliance with CBP and Microsoft best practices.
  • Participate in solution design reviews to ensure testability and quality requirements are incorporated early in development.
  • Support production readiness reviews, deployment validation, and post-implementation verification.
  • Verify data migration, data consolidation, and system integration activities.
  • Test certificate maintenance, licensing updates, mobile integrations, health monitoring capabilities, and system enhancements.
  • Assist with validation of automation initiatives that improve business processes using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
  • Develop end-user documentation, training materials, user guides, and testing documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers, solution architects, business analysts, and government stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Recommend improvements to quality assurance methodologies, testing processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of software quality assurance or application testing experience.
