Description

Nüvitek is seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role will be responsible for building scalable low-code solutions, automating business processes, developing data-driven insights, and supporting application lifecycle management across development, testing, and production environments.
The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, and Microsoft Dataverse, along with experience delivering solutions in federal government environments. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical leadership to deliver secure, scalable, and user-focused solutions that support mission-critical operations.
In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Nuvitek's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.
What you will do
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI.
  • Build and manage data models, tables, relationships, business rules, and security within Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Gather, analyze, and refine business requirements, translating them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Develop automated workflows and integrations that improve business processes and operational efficiency.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Support the full application lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Manage solution promotion and deployment across Development, Test, and Production environments.
  • Implement best practices for security, compliance, performance, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and platform issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, architects, and other technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational support materials.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Power Platform architecture, development standards, and best practices.

What you will bring
  • 7+ years of professional software development, application development, or Power Platform experience.
  • Hands-on experience building solutions using:
    • Microsoft Power Apps
    • Power Automate
    • Power Pages
    • Power BI
  • Strong experience working with Microsoft Dataverse, including data modeling, relationships, security roles, and business rules.
  • Experience designing and implementing end-to-end business process automation solutions.
  • Experience managing deployments and solution promotion across Development, Test, and Production environments.
  • Strong understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and release management practices within the Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft and third-party applications.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and partnering with stakeholders to define and deliver solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • One or more active Microsoft Power Platform certifications required:
    • PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant
    • PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
    • PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect
  • Prior experience supporting federal government clients or programs.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Experience working within Microsoft GCC or GCC High environments.
  • Experience developing or supporting systems that manage Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or other sensitive data.
  • Experience with Azure services and Microsoft 365 integrations.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform governance, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices for Power Platform solutions.
  • Experience mentoring developers and contributing to technical standards and best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based delivery environments.
