This position is the primary Microsoft Copilot administrator and user adoption specialist. They will provide onboarding, training, development, and support for Microsoft Copilot driven solutions as well as administration, data security, compliance, and tenant readiness. In addition to education, workshops, training, and solution support, the role will also develop business analytics and information architecture for the Microsoft 365 Collaboration team. This person will work closely with both technical and end-user teammates at all levels within the organization. This position will proactively address requests for agentic solutions, accelerate onboarding and training for Copilot users, and provide more hands-on support throughout the development lifecycle. The Copilot administrator is expected to research upcoming new or deprecated features within the Microsoft Power Platform as well as other LLMs and AI platforms. This position will also be a technical resource for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, the Power Platform, OneDrive for Business, and Viva Engage. They should also be able to answer functional questions and provide guidance on how best to integrate Microsoft Copilot and its various services (Chat, Agents, Cowork, Researcher, Studio) within the boundaries of Advocate Health governance policies.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Active Directory domains, user accounts, group policies, and related identity services in a hybrid enterprise environment.

  • Architect, deploy, and manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including hybrid identity scenarios, federation, conditional access, and integration with onpremises Active Directory.

  • Administer andoptimizeMicrosoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.

  • Own identity, permissions, licensing, and access controls across the Microsoft ecosystem, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and governance standards.

  • Lead planning and execution of migrations from legacy systems to Microsoft 365, including tenant configuration, data migration, and deployment of new services and features.

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and rootcause analysis for complex identity and collaboration issues; proactivelymonitorplatform health and implement performance and reliability improvements.

  • Implement,maintain, and continuously improve security controls related to identity, access, data protection, and collaboration services.

  • Ensure Microsoft environments meet regulatory, privacy, and organizational compliance requirements, partnering with security and compliance teams as needed.

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional IT teams and business stakeholders to support enterprise collaboration initiatives and sharedobjectives.

  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures; provide guidance and mentorship to associate and midlevel engineers.
