About the Organization

AllerVie Health Care Inc. is committed to enriching the lives of our clients by providing high-quality mental health services. We specialize in modern therapeutic practices, with a strong emphasis on mindfulness. Our outpatient office serves a diverse clientele, helping them navigate life's challenges and enhance their mental wellness. With a focus on holistic approaches, we empower our clients to manage their stress and promote personal growth effectively.

This role offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients in a comfortable and safe virtual environment. Despite the remote setting, we foster a collaborative culture among our therapists, encouraging ongoing communication and support through regular virtual meetings. The hybrid nature of our outpatient practice means that while much of the work is conducted online, you will also interact with a dynamic team dedicated to mental health excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to enhance clients' emotional health and manage stress effectively.
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify each client's unique stressors, challenges, and therapy goals to tailor your approach.
  • Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques that foster self-awareness and emotional balance.
  • Facilitate engaging group workshops and educational classes on mindfulness, stress management, and strategies for building resilience, promoting a community of support.
  • Integrate mindfulness practices into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns and fostering a collaborative approach to personal development.
  • Work alongside fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to create and maintain a holistic treatment approach that prioritizes client wellness.
  • Document client progress meticulously, tracking mindfulness interventions and outcomes to support continued growth and therapy direction.
  • Commit to personal mindfulness practice and continuous professional development, embracing opportunities to deepen expertise in mindfulness modalities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will involve working closely with a diverse clientele ranging from those experiencing chronic stress, anxiety, and depression to individuals seeking personal development and resilience training. As a mental health counselor, you will play a vital role in understanding each client's unique situation, providing tailored support that fosters trust and encourages healing. Your ability to incorporate mindfulness practices into therapy will enable clients to find effective coping mechanisms and improve their overall mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of New York.
  • Demonstrated skill in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic practices to achieve client goals.
  • Strong communication abilities, capable of creating a nurturing, trustworthy environment conducive to emotional wellness.
Preferred Experience
  • While extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred, it is not mandatory; willingness to learn and implement these techniques is essential.
  • Previous experience in a remote therapeutic setting, demonstrating adaptability to various client needs and technology platforms.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, we offer:

  • A comprehensive healthcare benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, ensuring you and your family are well taken care of.
  • A robust retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions to support your financial future.
  • Flexible paid time off (PTO) along with observed holidays to promote a healthy work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for professional development through workshops, training sessions, and conferences, encouraging continuous learning in the mental health field.
