One Meditation Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our remote team full-time. You will play a crucial role in assessing clients' mental health needs, crafting individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions that foster healing and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status upon their intake and throughout their treatment journey.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop personalized therapy plans that address their specific challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use, or other emotional issues.
  • Provide ongoing individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to foster client engagement and growth.
  • Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals—such as psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors—when appropriate to provide holistic care.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment strategies in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will support a varied clientele, including individuals affected by mental health disorders, substance use concerns, trauma, and life transitions. Your approach will emphasize cultural competence, ensuring that therapy is inclusive and responsive to the unique needs and backgrounds of each client. This direct interaction with patients not only enriches their therapeutic experience but also promotes a profound understanding of diverse perspectives in mental health.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant professional experience in mental health counseling.
  • Deep understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Ability to deliver culturally responsive individual and group therapy, demonstrating flexibility in your approach to different client needs.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills and the capacity to remain composed during high-stress situations.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for strong rapport-building with clients and colleagues alike.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in a community health setting, particularly with underserved populations.

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
