As a mental health counselor at One Meditation Counseling Center, you will utilize advanced digital platforms to connect with clients, handle appointments, and maintain accurate patient records. • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health statuses, utilizing standardized screening tools and clinical interviews.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on thorough diagnoses, ensuring alignment with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing both individual and group therapy techniques to support clients in navigating their mental health challenges.
• Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies, ensuring the highest standard of care is maintained.
• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social service agencies, when a higher level of care is needed.
• Document client interactions and treatment in electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately and promptly, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with therapeutic best practices and emerging mental health research trends.

Your clients will include individuals from various backgrounds experiencing a wide array of mental health issues. Whether you're addressing high-functioning professionals dealing with stress and anxiety, young adults facing identity issues, or clients with dual diagnoses, your role is critical in fostering resilience and facilitating transformative change.

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution is required; however, a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is mandatory.
• Minimum of four years of experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing a diverse clinical background.
• Deep understanding of various mental health disorders and proficiency in culturally responsive therapy techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver individual and group therapy effectively, fostering an inclusive environment for all clients.
• Strong crisis intervention capabilities and a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for building rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other digital tools typically used in telehealth settings.

• Experience in utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive client treatment.
• Familiarity with community resources and how to effectively integrate them into client treatment plans.

We offer an annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
