About the Role
The Technical Writer scopes, revises and drafts a variety of patient-facing technical literature needed to support a broad medical device portfolio
Technical writer will be responsible for executing project requirements in the creation of technical literature.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
  • Develop of a working understanding of medical device products
  • Work with required subject matter experts to align content changes
  • Author new literature in the Component Content Management System
  • Review literature to ensure compliance with all known requirements and departmental SOPs
  • Collaborate with graphic design team on layouts, drawings, images, and branding needs
  • Ensure all required approvals are obtained so literature can complete required technical review
  • Proactively identify gaps and work with team members to determine responses

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years' relevant experience, or Advanced degree with 0 years of experience.

Nice To Have:
  • Experience writing in a highly regulated environment
  • Experience writing patient-facing literature
  • Experience authoring in a Component Content Management System (CCMS)

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$58,000.00 - $98,000.00
For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $64,000 - $110,000 USD.
Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
