Job Summary
The Technical Writer will create technical documentation, including a user manual, how-to guides, integration guides, computer systems operation guides, and product specifications for the electronic controls and User Interface used for OEM in the Wellness Platform. This position works with engineers, sales, marketing, product management, and software developers to ensure that the information they provide is accurate and easy to understand.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Writes and edits technical documents, wiring schematics, and diagrams, including reference and product manuals.
  • Writes and edits procedural documentation such as user guides and manuals.
  • Determines the type of publication that will best serve the project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and project manager to learn about new and existing products.
  • Creates or works with graphic designers to create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist readers in understanding a product or process.
  • Gather customer, designer, and manufacturer feedback to improve technical documents.
  • Create Internal process documents and flow charts

Education Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in technical writing or a related field is required.

Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years related experience is required.

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • Proficient with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator software
  • Ability to read wiring schematic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent writing and grammatical skills.
  • Ability to present complex data in clear, concise text.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently.
