This role is primarily remote, providing you with the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from a location of your choice while still interacting daily with a supportive team through virtual platforms. You will participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to ensure integrated care and collaboration among staff. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, understanding context, severity, and duration to inform treatment planning.
• Collaboratively design personalized treatment plans that align with each client's goals and preferences, integrating their input for effective outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions tailored to mood disorders.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, guiding them through various treatment options and teaching essential self-care strategies to promote long-term wellness.
• Monitor client progress throughout treatment, utilizing metrics to evaluate outcomes and modifying the treatment approach as necessary.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, ensuring collaborative care and timely communication about medication management and other pertinent factors.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and assessments, all conforming to legal and ethical standards for mental health practice.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and specialized training sessions to enhance your therapeutic techniques and stay current with industry advancements.
• Advocate for clients within the community, helping to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues and promoting accessible care for those in need.

Our primary focus is on individuals suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with a diverse client base, engaging with individuals from various backgrounds and cultures. This diversity enriches the therapeutic experience and requires an understanding and appreciation of varied perspectives, making each day unique and fulfilling.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the State of California.
• Proficient in evidence-based treatment methodologies such as CBT and DBT specifically for mood disorders.
• A strong grasp of psychopharmacology and the capacity to work alongside medical professionals for an integrated care approach.
• A proven history of achieving positive client outcomes in previous mental health roles.
• Exceptional communication skills and an ability to form relationships of trust with clients from all walks of life.

• Experience within outpatient settings is highly desirable, with an emphasis on working with adult populations and specific modalities relevant to mood disorders.
• Demonstrated track record of utilizing telehealth technologies and virtual communication platforms effectively.
• Familiarity with a range of mental health documentation software and systems.
