• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health concerns through interviews and standardized tools, leading to the creation of tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver individual therapy focusing on various issues, including trauma, anxiety, and depression, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or mindfulness-based approaches.
• Work collaboratively with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals, continually monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Provide teletherapy services, ensuring accessible care for those who may face geographic or physical limitations, thereby expanding our reach to underserved populations.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation to meet ethical standards, uphold regulatory requirements, and reflect your commitment to professional practice.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to enhance your clinical skills and stay current with best practices and emerging research in the field of mental health.

As a mental health therapist at Advocate Aurora, you will work with a diverse clientele that includes adults and youth experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Our focus extends to individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance misuse, among other issues. Your expertise will be essential in facilitating their healing journeys and promoting their overall mental well-being.

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field, such as Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical counseling experience is required, with a focus on therapeutic practices.
• Strong understanding of legal, ethical, and regulatory standards in mental health practice.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team environment.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
• Experience providing teletherapy services is a plus.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, based on experience and caseload.
