Global Executive Recruiter โ€“ Marine, Aviation & Transportation Insurance Markets (U.K | Europe | USA) This position offers a 3โ€“5 year pathway to becoming the Head of Marine for a wellโ€established specialty Marine Insurance Broker in the United States. The role is ideal for a Marine Producer or Underwriter who is blocked from advancement with their current employer and seeks a realistic leadership trajectory. Base pay range: $85,000/yr โ€“ $125,000/yr As a Production Underwriter, you will inherit and service an existing portfolio of clients, holding the pen for quoting, binding, and broking deals.

You will work with agency partnerships and direct clients, leveraging your experience in Marine Hull, P&I, and Marine Liability underwriting to maintain and grow that portfolio. You will be eligible to earn 50% on the new business risks you write at this broker, and you will receive warm business from day1. Remote work is available, with a preference for candidates located on the Gulf or East Coast of the U.S.

(though the client is open to other locations). Estimated earnings: north of $150,000 in this role. Responsibilities Quote, bind, and broker marine insurance deals for existing and new clients.

Maintain and grow an established marine portfolio of Hull, P&I, and Marine Liability products. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing risk analysis and underwriting support. Collaborate with agency partners and direct clients to secure and close new business.

Operate remotely, ensuring timely communication and service for the client base. Qualifications Substantial experience as a Marine Underwriter or Marine Producer. Expertise in Hull, P&I, and Marine Liability underwriting.

Ability to close deals and generate new business in a clientโ€facing role. Detailโ€oriented with strong analytical skills. Experience working with agency partnerships and direct clients.
