Job Description

This role will funnel the leads to a sales representative to further qualify and close the sale. This position is purely a lead generation role and will not be responsible for further steps in the sales cycle.
 

Please note: although employees applying to this role may work remotely, please understand that the person in this role must be located in the Midwest and that for training and team collaboration purposes, if the employee is located within 30 miles from an RRD location, the expectation would be to be onsite 1-2 times a month. More details on these locations can be discussed during the interview process.


Responsibilities:

  • Leverage proven prospecting techniques to initiate contact with prospective new clients in our life sciences market (Medical Devices, Biotech and Pharmaceuticals), financial services, utilities, mortgage and retirement services..
  • Generate interest in a discovery meeting with an established RRD Sales Executive.
  • Identify multiple contact points within a supplied list of targets and position the value proposition of our products and services to entice the prospect to learn more about RRD through a discovery meeting.
  • Conduct online research to better understand the prospect and contact points business objectives to better position RRD services.
  • Generate a high-value sales pipeline through both strategic and targeted prospecting for Healthcare accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop a list of target prospects
  • Develop and run a pipeline of prospects and provide top-class customer experience
  • Effectively & smoothly transition a lead to an account executive following the first discovery meeting
  • Actively utilize Salesforce for all activities related to Lead Generation
  • Meet with Sales Leaders to evaluate strategy
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Communication, or related field. At least 2 years of experience in sales and telemarketing with an emphasis on cold calling
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and telemarketing with an emphasis on cold calling
  • Demonstrated ability to actively manage multiple tasks in an efficient manner
  • Must be goal-oriented, persuasive, self-motivated, and an independent worker
  • Preferred experience within life sciences, digital marketing, print, direct mail, labels or packaging but not strictly required
  • Experience with cold calling techniques and the use of Salesforce CRM technology to organize, track, and document activity
  • Candidates must be comfortable using multiple techniques and channels for reaching their contact points including but not limited to email, phone, social media, mail, etc.

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $43,900 to $77,200 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD's benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
