This role is primarily focused on project management within financial systems and business operations rather than technical or IT delivery/implementations
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for leading and driving success for PSERP migration, new product offering, and departmental improvement projects including:
    • Partner with the internal clients and stakeholders at many levels to confirm project scope and identify specific tasks, duration and effort required for successful project execution
    • Create and maintain project plan identifying project duration, effort, sequence, and dependencies of tasks required to meet project objectives
    • Create and manage documentation of decisions, issues, and risk logs (RAID log) including mitigation, avoidance, transfer, and/or acceptance of these items
    • Monitor and document project milestones and outcomes throughout the project
    • Develop and implement contingency and recovery plans when deliverables are missed (e.g., identify critical path, document, and plan for getting back on project schedule)
    • Conduct status calls at an agreed upon cadence and create and distribute weekly status reports
    • Create kick off deck following templates created by O2C PM team and lead kick off meetings
    • Set up all project meetings and manage agenda for each meeting. Take notes and distributes to meeting attendees and project team
    • Leverage project life cycle methodologies and tools to develop, document, and execute comprehensive communication plans, including creation of communication and training plans for team review
    • Draft written communications
    • Solicit and document team feedback and lessons learned to influence process standardization and improvements by providing recommendation to the larger teams as appropriate
  • Raise awareness of any misalignment or misunderstanding of project scope and objectives with the appropriate stakeholders
  • Escalates issues with project executive sponsors promptly
  • Lead and coordinate projects that span multi-departmental and cross-functional areas ensuring inclusivity of all parties in project plan
  • Collaborates with the O2C PM team to enhance and consistently improve our project management strategy and artifacts
  • Presents project status updates at the department meetings
  • Manage multiple projects of medium to large scope at the same time
  • This role will challenge your ability to work on complex projects where deadlines and scope can shift. This role requires flexibility, agility and the ability to adapt to change and ambiguity while maintaining solid relationships with stakeholders in a matrixed environment. Solid communication skills, ability to prioritize work and balance competing priorities are essential for this role

Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions
  • Experience with projects related to financial systems (billing and revenue applications, preferred)
  • Experience acting as a liaison between business and technical teams
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Smartsheet- preferred), and other Microsoft tools such as Excel, Visio, Word and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to the leadership
  • Proven ability to prioritize and balance multiple demands and competing deadlines

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
