Center Light Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Operating remotely allows our counselors the flexibility to provide care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. As an outpatient service provider, our counselors primarily engage with clients via telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility and convenience for our diverse client population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based diagnostic assessments to inform treatment plans.
  • Provide individualized one-on-one counseling sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques to assist clients in managing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
  • Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions, offering a supportive environment for peer engagement through connections and shared experiences.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that identify specific goals and interventions for each client, revisiting and adjusting plans based on progress and feedback.
  • Respond promptly to clients in crisis situations, performing risk assessments and collaborating with emergency services when necessary to ensure safety and well-being.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including training workshops and webinars, to stay informed about the latest research and practices in mental health care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
