Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role encompasses a variety of impactful duties, including:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on evidence-based approaches to enhance clients' mental health.
• Facilitating discussions that encourage clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences, helping them gain insights into personal and relational dynamics.
• Acting as an advocate for clients in defining and achieving their personal therapy goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a carefully screened population of clients, which includes stable adults experiencing low acuity issues. Our vetting process ensures that clients you will engage with do not present with severe mental health crises, allowing you to focus on providing meaningful support tailored to their needs. Additionally, we take your specialties and demographic preferences into consideration when matching you with clients.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Licensing: Candidates must hold an active and unencumbered state license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

Preferred Experience

We seek professionals with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, emphasizing individual therapy. A track record of effectively managing cases and demonstrating empathetic communication skills will enhance your application. Proficiency with technology and remote counseling platforms is also highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and client hours worked. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
