Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via video chat, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate their mental health improvement.
• Guide clients in exploring their feelings and experiences, fostering self-awareness and deeper insights into their relationships.
• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in establishing clear therapeutic goals and pathways for achievement.
• Assess clients’ mental health conditions thoroughly, utilizing your clinical experience to develop and implement tailored treatment plans using a solution-focused approach.
• Provide ongoing support and resources outside of sessions to ensure clients feel valued and heard throughout their therapeutic journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients at Healing Orbits will primarily consist of stable adults who require assistance with low-acuity mental health issues. All clients are carefully screened before engaging with our services, ensuring that you work with individuals who align with your clinical expertise and personal strengths. We facilitate a matching process that connects you with clients based on your specializations and demographic preferences, allowing for a fulfilling counseling experience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, unrestricted license to practice independently in the state of Texas as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No limited or provisional licenses and no disciplinary actions should be present on your license.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a nurturing demeanor are critical for your success in this role.
• Basic to advanced computer skills, ensuring proficiency with the online counseling platform used for client sessions.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, along with a proven track record of effectively engaging with diverse populations in a therapeutic setting.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary within the range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 based on hours worked, experience, and client caseload.
