Position Overview

Center Light Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a fully remote role. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify clients' needs, concerns, and therapeutic goals.
• Develop individualized therapy strategies that may include modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.
• Facilitate group, family, and couples therapy sessions based on evidence-based practices to foster healing and communication.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a holistic care plan for each client, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, adhering strictly to legal and ethical guidelines for client information.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops, to stay updated on advancements in mental health treatment.
• Engage in regular supervision and peer consultations to improve therapeutic practices and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
• Minimum of three years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Proven expertise in therapeutic techniques and knowledge of diverse treatment modalities.
