Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio Company is actively recruiting for a temporary, Compliance Paralegal to support key compliance, auditing, monitoring, and vendor due diligence activities for a remote assignment for a prestigious corporate client.


This position could convert to a temp-to-hire for the right candidate.


Position Summary

This role will partner closely with compliance, legal, and business stakeholders to help maintain effective compliance processes, support data review initiatives, and assist with the development of policies and training materials.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support data and field monitoring activities to help ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable requirements.
  • Assist with data auditing initiatives, including reviewing information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Support the development, review, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and training materials.
  • Assist with due diligence processes for vendors, suppliers, and third-party partners.
  • Support payment transparency data review, including identifying discrepancies, organizing documentation, and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information, track action items, and support compliance-related reporting.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation related to audits, monitoring activities, vendor reviews, and other compliance processes.


Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Consulting firm experience
    • Healthcare compliance experience
    • Paralegal experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data and documentation.
  • Legal & Compliance
    • Regulatory Filings, Claim Cost Negotiation, HIPAA & Healthcare Compliance, Fraud Investigation, Litigation Support, Corporate Risk Analysis.
  • Contract Management
    • Contract Drafting & Redlining, Vendor & Influencer Partnerships, Trade Secret, Affidavits, NDAs, Version-Control Protocols, CLM Systems.
  • Technology & eDiscovery
    • Legal Tracker (Serengeti), Westlaw, LexisNexis, Relativity, Logikcull, Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel/Word), SharePoint, HRIS Systems, AMS.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with legal, compliance, business, and operational teams.
  • Substantive auditing and monitoring experience.
  • Experience supporting compliance programs in a healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated industry environment.
  • Familiarity with vendor or supplier due diligence processes.
  • Experience reviewing payment transparency or compliance-related data.
  • Ability to identify potential issues, document findings, and communicate recommendations clearly.
