• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders in clients.
• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and aspirations。
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster recovery and resilience.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, therapeutic options, and self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Coordinate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care.
• Stay current with advancements in mood disorder research to inform and enhance therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to foster a culture of collaboration.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and contribute to the reduction of stigma associated with mental health issues.

In this role, you will primarily focus on clients who are experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You may also work with vulnerable populations, including victims of domestic abuse, refugees, and homeless individuals, providing critical support and resources to help them navigate their circumstances.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to establish trust and rapport with clients through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibits empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach to client experiences and struggles.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills for effective case management and adherence to deadlines.

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competence in mental health treatment.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling methodologies.
• Previous experience in a community health setting or with clients facing complex psychosocial challenges.
