• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored therapy strategies for clients, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.
• Engage in individual, group, and family therapy sessions, providing effective therapy to a range of clients with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive care plans, ensuring all aspects of client needs are addressed holistically.
• Maintain accurate and updated clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, which is essential for client care and organizational accountability.
• Stay current with mental health advancements by engaging in professional development, attending workshops, and participating in ongoing training provided by the organization.

Your primary focus will be on serving various patient populations, including individuals and families with limited access to mental health resources. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential for this position.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas.
• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, with a strong foundation in providing therapeutic support.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software to document sessions and manage client records efficiently.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards within the counseling field.

• Specialization or prior experience in family therapy, substance misuse counseling, trauma-informed care, or couples therapy is highly desired.
