This is a fully remote position, providing flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere. You will engage with clients via telehealth platforms, utilizing secure and user-friendly technology to provide high-quality counseling services. Our typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance encouraging your professional growth and personal well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health and psychosocial needs, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual circumstances.
• Provide telehealth counseling sessions that uphold confidentiality, while effectively supporting clients facing challenges such as mental health disorders, substance abuse, trauma, and family dynamics.
• Aid clients in navigating community-based resources and services, ensuring they receive the necessary support for holistic well-being.
• Engage in a multidisciplinary team approach, offering insights regarding clients’ psychosocial stressors and actively participating in case reviews to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Maintain thorough documentation of clinical interactions, including patient medical histories, treatment progress, diagnoses, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay informed on the latest clinical practices and research pertaining to mental health, actively participating in professional development opportunities.

As a Telehealth Mental Health Counselor at Mystic Haven, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing varying degrees of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role involves understanding their unique situations and tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs, ultimately empowering them on their journey to recovery and resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of California.
• Demonstrated experience providing mental health counseling to a diverse array of clientele, showcasing your ability to adapt to various cases effectively.

• Experience in teletherapy and familiarity with telehealth technologies to facilitate remote counseling sessions effectively.
• Background in crisis intervention and support, particularly in addressing concerns related to substance abuse, trauma, and domestic challenges.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral systems to aid clients in accessing necessary external support services.
