• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to create tailored treatment plans for clients based on their unique needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions that may include individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Implement various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to suit client preferences.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and our internal policies to ensure quality care and operational efficiency.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by remaining informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health, including attending workshops and relevant training sessions.

This role emphasizes working with a diverse range of clients facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relational conflicts. • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing counseling services, with a preference for those who have worked in a telehealth setting.
• Exceptional knowledge of ethical and legal guidelines in counseling practice.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds, utilizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms to operate efficiently during client sessions.

• Experience or specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or relationships counseling is highly desirable.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in providing therapy in different formats, including individual and group settings.
