Designer (Remote)

Rugiet Health

Austin, TX • On-site, Remote

Full-time

Posted 5 days ago

Job description

About Rugiet
Rugiet is a high-growth, innovative telemedicine company pioneering patented solutions in the men's health space. We are dedicated to delivering accessible, effective, and patient-centric healthcare. As we continue to expand our suite of products and market presence, we rely on data-driven strategy and compelling messaging to connect patients with our life-changing solutions.
Role Summary
We need a Designer to help us make everything from emails, social posts, ads, decks, merch, and more, as we build out our brand. We're looking for someone who isn't just hands on a keyboard, but can bring fresh ideas to a brief and believes in the power of pixel perfection.
Tangibles
  • You are really really good at design. Our designers love making beautiful, captivating graphic design. You gobble up the latest trends but are never consumed by them. You love a brand guideline, and you know when to break them. You bring a strong visual POV to every brief, not just taking what you're given and tightening the kerning.
  • You are meticulous. Pixel perfection is your religion. You check your own work, twice, and reliably produce excellent design deliverables, making any proofing basically a formality.

Intangibles
Everyone in the creative department is held to the following standards:
  • We make the best work of our careers. We hold ourselves to the highest standards as we make creative work, because if we're not proud of what we're making, why should anyone else pay attention to it.
  • We believe in the power of creativity. We know that creativity creates outcomes, and so we constantly look for the thing that hasn't been done before, and never settle for the expected.
  • We crave feedback. We know that everything we do can always be improved. We seek out feedback from voices we respect, and give it when asked, thoughtfully and constructively.
  • We have an opinion. We are not just hands on keyboards, everyone, regardless of seniority or role, is expected to have ideas and a strong point of view that they work hard to develop.
  • We turn constraints into unfair advantages. We know there is never enough time or money to do things the easy way, and so we take constraints and make the most of them, always looking for the most creative solution to the limitless challenges that litter our path.

Requirements
  • 4-5 years of experience as a designer at an ad agency, design agency, or internal agency.
  • You are at home in Figma and Google Slides, but can also tap the Creative Suite as needed.
  • AI is a part of your workflow. You see it as a powerful tool and you love finding new ways to use it to make your work more captivating and easier to produce. Show us something cool you've made, and then explain how you made it.
  • A portfolio of design work that we wish we made for social content, ads, and emails.

To Apply
If you are excited by the opportunity to make a significant impact on a growing healthcare company by organizing and optimizing our creative output, please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are a great fit for this role.
