This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's locations: SR Staffing Services, LLC dba Silo Ridge Field Club at 4651 Route 22, Amenia, NY 12501 - Dutchess County.
Silo Ridge Field Club is seeking SEASONAL full-time Landscape Laborers to join the Golf Course Maintenance Department. Employment dates are: February 20, 2026 - November 20, 2026. H-2B visa sponsorship is available.
Shift/Work Hours: 40 hours per week; 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM (Multiple different shifts offered throughout the day) Sunday - Saturday
In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mow, edge, and fertilize grasses.
  • General landscaping tasks such as mulching, weeding, planting of ornamentals, trimming hedges, shrubs, and small trees.
  • Plant flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants.
  • Watering of lawns, landscapes, and gardens.
  • Assist with irrigation repair and drainage installation.
  • Participate in department set-up activities such as changing of hole locations and tee markers.
  • Ensure all end of day tasks/closing procedures are completed and comply with the department's SOP.
  • Report any safety or maintenance issues immediately to the Department Manager.
  • Attend department meetings and training as necessary.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to operate golf course machinery such as push rotary mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, utility vehicles, and riding mowers.
  • Possess a valid United States driver's license (or international equivalent) and ability to operate vehicles.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays and an ability to work a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length.
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions in English.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and operate in a safe, professional manner at all times.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
  • Ability to learn and navigate the property to complete assigned job tasks.

Benefits

  • The pay range is $21.31 - $23.00 USD per hour, and overtime is available at $31.97-$34.50 per hour, based on the hourly rate.
