• Conduct thorough assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that include evidence-based practices and culturally competent approaches tailored to client needs.
• Provide ongoing counseling sessions—both individual and group formats—to support clients in navigating their mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care and referrals as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities, utilizing learning opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge base.

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of clients from various backgrounds, including individuals coping with mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse issues. You will utilize your cultural competence to effectively understand and address the unique experiences and challenges faced by each client. Your approach will be client-centered, ensuring that clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their therapeutic journey.

• Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possess a current, valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Demonstrate a minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health counseling.
• Exhibit in-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and effective treatment modalities grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Show proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation and client management.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy to a variety of populations, emphasizing inclusivity and cultural sensitivity.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and a calm demeanor to manage clients in challenging situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling you to easily establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
