About the role:
We are looking for an Entry Level Business Analyst to join the team. You will facilitate business process improvement, product development and innovation by investigating, analysing, reviewing, and documenting functional and non-functional business specifications. This role manages the requirements development process through the elicitation, analysis, specification, and verification of multiple levels of requirements from an end-to-end perspective and supports the ongoing management of the requirements. You will also coordinate, and project manage the implementation and/or integration of new products or features including user training.
Responsibilities:
* Bridge business requirements and IT solutions
* Analyse the impact of technology changes on current business processes and existing technology.
* Document requirements and break down complex initiatives following agile/MVP principles.
* Champion UI/UX best practices during design and development.
* Coordinate solution delivery via sprints across planning, refining, developing, testing, and releasing activities.
* Negotiate scope changes with the Scrum team and the business sponsors.
* Facilitate knowledge transfer and foster change management activities.
* Analyse system defects and assist in the verification and validation of fixes.
* Work with QA to develop and/or review test plans and assist with testing as required.
Relevant skills & attributes:
* An excellent communicator (written and verbal), with stakeholder management experience
* An individual with sound problem solving skills
* Someone with sound project management and negotiation skills
* A curious mind, who thrives on learning new things
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is desirable
* Strong project management and negotiation skills
* Experience working in an agile environment
